About Progeny

In December 16, 1994, Ed McDonough and Mark Greenwood co-founded Progeny, Inc. as a new, independent company to acquire the collimator, high voltage cable and x-ray accessory business of Eureka® X-Ray Tube Corporation. Since its inception, Progeny has continued to market the well-known Eureka® brand name and remains dedicated to providing products which are both the highest quality and the greatest value added in the industry.

Progeny's line of collimators, buckys and cables have gained a superior reputation with regard to features, performance, reliability and value, a distinction which has made Progeny the leading independent manufacturer of collimators in the United States. Progeny currently manufactures and markets a broad line of collimators, ranging from the Linear MC-150-C manual unit to the microprocessor controlled, Linear IV fully automatic system. Progeny also offers several specialty units designed for specific applications.

Progeny's new Eureka® True Speed Bucky utilizes the latest technology in brushless DC motors. The True Speed Bucky provides extremely accurate speed control using purely high-speed integrated electronics.

In addition to its line of collimators and buckys, Progeny manufactures and markets an extensive line of high voltage cables and x-ray accessory products. In this highly competitive market segment, Progeny continues to provide our customers with near-immediate delivery of high quality products at competitive prices.
